12th Annual Tim Heinsz 5K & Jim Devine Dog Walk – April 16, 2016

PrintRogers, Ehrhardt, Weber & Howard is proud to sponsor the 12th Annual Tim Heinsz 5K and Jim Devine Dog Walk on April 16 in Columbia, Missouri.   This event honors the memory of two of Mizzou Law’s most beloved deans.  Tim Heinsz served as Dean of the Mizzou Law and was an avid runner.  Jim Devine was a noted dog lover and severed as an Associate Dean at the law school.  He was also the father of REWH Principal Josh Devine.   All proceeds raised benefit an endowed law school scholarship fund.

Location and Date

The race will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016 in front of Hulston Hall (west side facing Missouri Ave. and the Alumni Center), home of the University of Missouri School of Law.  Event will be held rain or shine.

The 5K and 10k will begin promptly after announcements at 9AM.

The Dog Walk will begin at 9:15AM.

The Kid’s Fun Run will begin at 9:30AM.

Pancakes!

Chris Cakes St. Louis will be flipping flapjacks both during and after the race.  For more information about this delicious addition to the TH5K, check out the Chris Cakes website at http://www.chriscakesstl.com/.

Packet Pickup

Packet pickup and late registration will take place in the sub-plaza of the University of Missouri School of Law (Hulston Hall, Missouri Avenue) on Friday, April 15, 2015 and on race morning, Saturday, April 16, 2015.

Come one, come all! The 5K & 10K Run/Walk and Dog Walk are open to everyone!

Mizzou Law students, faculty and staff; Mizzou Law Alumni; the members of  The Missouri Bar Association; students, faculty and staff of the University of Missouri; and the entire community. Dogs are welcome, too!

Registration Options

Tim Heinsz Memorial 10K Run/Walk 

Regular Registrant: $25/person

Current Student Registrant: $20/person

Run or walk the Tim Heinsz Memorial 10K.  The run/walk route begins at the law school, travels through the beautiful Mizzou campus, and takes you along the Katy Trail.  This registration option includes a timing chip, and your race time will be posted online.

Tim Heinsz Memorial 5K Run/Walk

Regular Registrant: $25/person

Current Student Registrant: $20/person

Run or walk the Tim Heinsz Memorial 5K.  The run/walk route begins at the law school, travels through the beautiful Mizzou campus, and takes you along the Katy Trail. This registration includes a timing chip, and your race time will be posted online.

Tim Heinsz Memorial 5K/10K “Just For the Health of It” Run/Walk (no timing chip)

Regular Registrant: $25/person

Current Student Registrant: $20/person

Run or walk the Tim Heinsz Memorial 5K or 10K route “just for health.”  If you’re interested in participating in the race/walk without the added pressure of carrying a timing chip or having your race time posted online, this is the option for you!  This registration option does not include a timing chip, and you are not eligible for awards.

Jim Devine Dog Walk

Regular Registrant: $25/person

Current Student Registrant: $20/person

Enjoy a leisurely one-mile stroll around Peace Park and the columns with your furry friend.  Don’t have a furry friend of your own?  Not to worry.  Walkers without dogs are welcome to join the fun, too.  Each registration includes an event t-shirt and dog bandanas for each of your dogs.

Kids Fun Run

Child Registrant: $20/child

Kids of all ages are invited to “race” on the law school lawn.  Each registration includes one kid-sized t-shirt and an event medal!

Event T-Shirt Only

T-Shirt Only Registrant: $15/shirt

If you can’t make it to Race Day or you’re just in it for the t-shirt, this is the option for you!  Note: this registration is for an event t-shirt only; it does not include a Chris Cakes pancake breakfast or participation in any of the races or walks.

 

Participants will receive a Tim Heinsz Memorial 5K & 10K and Jim Devine Dog Walk T-shirt. Awards will be given to the top finishers in the 5K & 10K Run. Medals will be given for all participants in the Kids Fun Run.
